Ping G10 Driver Review

The latest clubs in Ping’s G series is the Ping G10.  The Ping G series of golf clubs has been one of its most popular series of golf clubs.  This Ping G10 driver review will provide our thoughts about this latest Ping golf club.  I hope that you like our review.

If you are a fan of the Ping G5 driver, I really think that you will like the Ping G10 wood.  The G10 has a great feel and sounds just like a driver should sound.  For the price of this club, the G10s are great performers.  Too often clubs these days look like something that Captain Kirk would be using to play golf.

But, the G10 has that more traditional look.   I really like this traditional look.  I don’t want my drivers to look like something from the future.  I love the simple and classic design of the Ping G10 driver.  However, I am not sure that an owner of a Ping G5 driver will see that much of a difference in the performance of the Ping G10 from their current ping golf clubs.

One difference in the design of the G10 is that its MOI is not as high as some other drivers out there like the Nike SQ Sumo drivers.  However, I still think that the Ping G10 is a very forgiving driver.

I think that the G10 woods are a great value for the money.  When you compare the G10 to other clubs in its same price range, I don’t think that you can go wrong to buy a Ping G10 driver.  However, if you are looking for a cheaper golf driver, you might want to look at the Ping Rapture driver instead.

Technologically, I don’t think that the G10 differs that much from the G5 driver.  I do think that the G10 driver is more forgiving than the G5, but if I owned a G5, I would not rush out to buy the G10.  Having said that, I really love the look of the G10.  So, this could persuade me to buy a G10 even if I already bought a G5 driver.

Therefore, my final thoughts about this Ping G10 driver review really come down to this.  If you don’t already own a Ping G5 driver then you need to look at buying a G10.  If you already own a Ping G5 driver, then don’t sweat buying the G10 unless you love the new look.
