The Ping G10 irons and Ping i10 irons include new and exciting Ping golf shaft technology. These new Ping shafts use an Ascending Weight Technology (AWT) shaft design. This Ascending Weight Technology means that longer Ping golf clubs will actually have lighter shafts than the shorter ping golf clubs.
The purpose behind this new ping shaft technology is to increase the club head speed for the long irons. This increased club head speed should allow you to hit your long irons further. This is a great way to get extra distance from your ping golf clubs.
The heavier short irons add control to your game. Due to the increased weight of the short ping irons, the club head speed will be slower. This should help with consistency and control.
Ping also has new graphite shafts, the Ping TFC 129 shaft and Ping 129i shaft.
This new Ping golf shaft technology is really cool. I can’t wait to try our a set of Ping irons with these ping golf shafts.
